Minimum experience required (Specify type of experience and duration):

1. Knowledge of Project Management.
2. Knowledge of Plant Optimization techniques.
3. Knowledge of legal requirements for factories.
4. Sound knowledge of the Company''''''''s specific Production equipment.
5. Knowledge of maintenance systems.
6. Knowledge of investigative techniques and principles.
7. Knowledge of managing techniques and principles.
8. Knowledge of electrical installations, gas furnaces, induction heaters, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC’s, compressors, presses, plastic moulding machines and metallurgical processes.
9. Knowledge of press tooling, plastic injection moulding tools and steel forging tools.
10. Sound knowledge of machine tools techniques and processes, including CNC machining.
11. Knowledge of BSI ISO 9001 2000 & ISO 14001
12. Knowledge of NOSA OHSA requirements.

Skills required:

1. Must be innovative and creative.
2. Must be competent to use the Solidworks CAD software.
3. Must be competent to operate machine tools.
4. Must be able to implement continuous improvements.
5. Must be able to handle conflict.
6. Must have good negotiation skills

1. Minimum education and/or qualifications required:
2. Minimum Diploma / B-Tech Degree in Mechanical Engineering Field.
3. Minimum 8-10 years experience in a maintenance department as a foreman in an equivalent environment.
